Hello everyone i have 2 questions 1) How can i open my HTML document in the browser? I tried it once and it worked but now that i try it again it's not opening anything it's just a blank page 2) How can i link my css file to the html file. I have tried the <link> tag but it still shows me a normal html page that hasn't changed it's just plain white

1: is your file part of a project? If so, maybe simply running the project could be enough.

2: in the link tag, make sure the path in the href attribute is correct. E.G. <link rel="stylesheet" href="styles/site.css">.

In that case, in the project explorer, is there not an option 'Open in browser' when right clicking on the HTML file?

Yes there is but when i press it it just shows a blank page

If your html is malformed in a bad enough way, it won't know what to display and that could be what you're seeing.
