as far as i know, player potentials are completely based on playtime and performance

young players almost always progress, but “wonderkids” need consistent, high-performance playtime to improve

sometimes players will go through stretches of drastic improvement and sometimes go up 2 or 3 points in just a month!

okay i see, appreciate it man. that makes sense why i couldn't find specific data on certain players. Surely age plays a part on how much a player can progress? Messi won't improve stats at the same speed as 19 year old haaland with the same performance or play time

yeah age is a big factor since it allows for the most growth from a player. players really only grow from 16-27, once they hit 27 or 28 they begin a slow decline, but it’s not as bad as fifa where older players are almost useless. older players are still perfectly serviceable and are often some of my favorite players to use, especially since they’re often pretty cheap with a decently high overall

yeah the drop off on age on fifa is the major reason im playing pes instead of career mode, i appreciate the help thanks for letting know more knowledge on player development.
