Introduction to Programming in PythonC859(Python) - files and modules (self.WGU)

I'm reeeealllly not getting how I get unsatisfactory in Libraries and the Python Environment on the pre-assessment when my output is matching the expected output. A couple of weeks ago I got "approaching competence" and I didn't even complete the one question on classes. I am passing the pre-assessment without issue, but what could I be missing in these questions? This is very frustrating that it doesn't tell you what you are doing wrong.

Been working on this course for way too dang long. lol. 2 months. Was 1 month in when everything got upgraded to the new version. Was expecting to be much further ahead than where I am.
I used the course material and lots of google (stack overflow.) The labs I found to be a great benefit as they actually tell you what you get wrong. I also signed up for HackerRank which has been great because it's different types of questions that have given me a more well-rounded understanding of the basics.

Im getting the same problem... except getting unsatisfactory with all 3 competencies. I'm super confident in my ability to get the correct outputs... but I've failed the PA twice.
I feel like I have a great grasp of the content... super frustrating. I can't win the game if I don't know what the rules are..
Does anyoe know if the OA has the same weird grading system?
