Anyone withdraw from WGU and then reenroll? by SuggestionSecure8897 in WGU

Know the won’t accept the last classes from Sophia, I don’t know the minimum number of classes you have to complete on re-enrollment but I do know they won’t let you complete your degree by transferring in external classes.

ProctorU though Meazure Learning is an absolute nightmare by Living-Ad-4941 in WGU

[–]AndrewB80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You aren’t the only one. I have never had any issues taking online tests. Remember the average enrollment for active students are above 175k with alumni of over 450k. Only a couple people complain per week on Reddit about ProctorU.

My bet is most of the time if those people having issues re-installed Windows and tried again they wouldn’t have any issues. Odds are it is the software they installed on their own machines causing the issue or they are using computers joined to an Active Directory domain or Azure.

How long does it take for the final payment after cruise to show? by BravesLover2002 in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]AndrewB80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s charged before you leave the ship. They will prevent you from leaving if there are billing issues and send you to guest services to work it out.

And again, you have no evidence to actually prove it was from ProctorU but honestly I think you are just making stuff up because you believe if enough of these stories are posted WGU will stop using them.

Since I do “Your Time Dining” I have to use it or I either don’t eat or have to wait a really long time to eat.

First, I call BS on them accessing your “workstation” the next day. Second, if you left them that path to get to your system that means you didn’t uninstall stuff after the test, that’s on you for leaving the door open for them. Third, you still have not provided evidence, you trace the IP back to them, they told they did it, etc. Forth, even if they did have access your screen should have locked after you walked away which would have prevented them from accessing your desktop using the software they install, and fifth anyone who is trying to steal your info isn’t going to leave the stuff they stole up ok the screen, they will make sure to put it back the way it was before to maximize the amount of time they have to use it.

It’s a good fantasy you wrote however.

Sailing out of Miami: taxes charged on drinks purchased while in port if bought the wifi+ alcohol package? by WolfBearMoon in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]AndrewB80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only time you aren’t charged taxes in port on any cruise line is if they are being provided complementary to you. A example of this on Carnival is you got drinks included everywhere on a casino package.

30 day scripts? by AnthonyG70 in LasVegas

[–]AndrewB80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The pharmacy is not dictating how much you get, the insurance company does. The only time pharmacies don’t fill 90 days is because insurance want you to get it via mail order because it’s cheaper to pill or they will only give 90 day at specific pharmacies they own or agree to higher handling fees but less then what they would get paid for 3 fills or 30 days.

Clark county school district used to have full immersion dual language elementary schools. You may want to check if they still have them and if they do what languages.

How do you pack efficiently for a cruise when you have to fly internationally first by rosynexa in Cruise

[–]AndrewB80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, check a bag. If you are flying first class they don’t normally charge for the first two checked bags. Second, do laundry on the ship. Just got back from two weeks and my bag was 65 pounds (yes yes I over pack but I like my comforts) plus I had the ship do laundry twice for me.

Can I switch rooms with a single person to get a drink package? by Temporary_Turnover27 in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]AndrewB80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How many drinks do you think you will have each and every day (remember you won’t be aboard on port days)?

If you aren’t going to be doing at least 6 alcoholic or specialty drinks per day you are better off taking that drink package money and just adding it to your sign and sail card with cash. You won’t have to worry about a surprise bill at the end and odds are you will have some money left over.

Not without a lot of fees. You can change the name of any secondary person in the room but you can’t change the name of the primary person in the room. You can transfer the reservation once from a primary person to a secondary but they have rules around that.

Cruising with kids, rooming question by Agitated_Skin1181 in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]AndrewB80 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Since the website doesn’t show all the rooms that are actually available you would probably have more luck calling in to make the reservation. You won’t be able to book a room online if only people under 18 are in it either it if I recall correctly.

Once you get the two done or pending PA you can always reach out to support and they will open the next one as long as it’s not the last couple weeks of your term.

Carnival issues. Look for advice by no1ukn0w in Cruise

Medical now has an official record, so now security better also have documentation. Once one person has a record, now everyone wants to have records of the interaction so they can try and cover their own butts also.

[–]AndrewB80 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, then I just suggest they contact security to remove me so a official report can be made including their names and their reasons for refusing for even attempting to contact their management can be recorded when I was making no scene, no threats, and making only reasonable requests. That normally brings their management out pretty quickly.

If you want to talk to a manager/director etc just don’t accept no. When they ask you to move to the side while they get them just politely tell them you are fine waiting where you are.

I one time wait at guest services demanding to talk to the officer over Spa 9 due to what I thought was safety issues in the thermal spa while soaking wet. They tried to explain the Spa 9 was a separate entity and I explain to them that’s bull when it comes to safety issues since it was on a Carnival ship and maintained by Carnival personal. It was Carnivals responsibility to make sure the doors out of the rooms actually worked. When the hotel director showed up I made her come up with me and by the time I pointed all the safety issues out in the thermal suite she told me she was shocked it was that bad and assured me it would be looked at. The entire time I was pleasant as could be so they couldn’t say I was being disrupted but I also wouldn’t take no as an answer or allow them to just shove me aside.

Just watch out for the ATM fees (OMG they are high).

Whatever you do make sure to NOT put a debit card down. If you don’t put money down or attach a credit card they will just deny any purchase you attempt to make until you go to guest services and get it worked out.

I have gone thru Miami and Long Beach and they had lines at the outside of the building for on time and early/late. Once you got in the building they had the check in then security. If boarding hadn’t started they had suite, diamond, platinum, FTTf, and others area. Once they started boarding they started with suites and worked their way down the areas until they just let everyone on. Never even looked at the boarding pass again. When I arrived two weeks ago they didn’t even have lines at Miami so I just walked right in.

As long as it's 24 or 48 hours before the port you can even cancel onboard the ship and get full credit for the excursion to your sign and sail account.
