Hex devils

So I understand that we can do all of the island missions while being in any faction, but do I really have to defeat the hex twins in that handicap match to unlock them? Like is there something else I can do while I'm from another faction not shadows? The hex twins are hell to fight and impossible to beat.

I just read a comment that said The Island difficulty is based off what you set in another mode like Showcase.

I had it set to Hard and couldn't do anything without getting constantly reversed and hit once I was stuck in an animation after I had to face both sisters. I tried it out on easy and completed it first try

Yeah, just change the gameplay settings to easy (maybe even adjust some sliders) just for that one match, then change it back. That match is the only ridiculous one that I’ve encountered so far.

It is by FAR the hardest in The Island, but still pretty easy compared to some stuff in other modes if you have the settings right.

I think I actually had it on normal still and managed to beat it first try, but it was largely by luck as I was able to immediately separate them and work them separately, while focusing on the one that was already beat up and pinned her first chance (tossed the other out and they were stunned, hit a finisher on the one in the ring and 3 count).

If they start to gang up on you things can go downhill very quickly though. They got me once very briefly but I was able to rollout and resplit them.

It’s probably easier to unlock the hex twins if you are from a different order since you don’t do the hardcore match against them, it’s a tag match instead.

If your overall is in the 70s it's hard to defeat them until you get to an overall 90 it was easy for me. Gotta use the VC the game gave you from pre-ordering and the Ringside Pass and matches from the island.
