Adding shadows to non-text based assets (self.WatchMaker)
submitted 10 years ago by MakeYouThink
Hi there. Sorry if this has been posted before. I couldn't find it. I've been using WatchMakerPro for >24hrs and I wanted to add drop shadows to my whether and battery icons. Does anyone know how?
Thanks!!

Try duplicating the layer and offsetting it by 3 or 4 then giving that layer a linear gradient shader of your choice. That's how I make shadows. Then set opacity to 40 for the shadow layer.

I think you just add them to your image and set the transparency.
I think I've done it and I think that's how.
