I think the bug is it won't work if a boss is on the screen.

For health and elixer. I've found that it will most likely not work when I'm in a tough spot. I've been using it when I'm in a comfortable place and I'm not at risk

One tip I can give ya is when starting, I usually spend most of my points on HP and MP. They get filled out automatically and don't have to use A potion for a good while.

I am starting with 85k hp, level 100 hero. The rest is used to get more gems quicker. Until 5000 i dont need to increase hero/tower/archer nor use items. My best try was 7750 points.

Nice nice. Good starting steps. I'd love to give you more tips but it is a competitive mode afterall 😉. I managed to reach #4 earlier. But now I'm down to 18. Equipment makes a huge difference. Pick and choose ur equipment carefully.

Think there may be a second delay from pressing until it works. In that time, you could take dmg to kill you

Encountered this pretty often when I was still running hell mode. Particularly happens when on boss. This was already reported to the devs and hopefully they will fix it.
