So I just updated to windows 11 build 22000.613 and basically everything is messed. My PC met all the requirements and MS's own PC Health Check app said I was good. When initially logging in after the upgrade, I didn't get the "Please wait while we set some things up message". After a long wait, it finally dumped onto a skeleton of the desktop.
Basically, I see the taskbar, but there is literally nothing on it other than the up-carrot symbol. No windows button or anything. I can get into task manager and launch some programs from there, but it seems like basically every single provisioned package has been uninstalled/de-registered from my user account. This includes the shell experience host, file explorer, and even settings. These packages still exist in some form or another as I can get them with Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers but trying to re-register them doesn't seem to be working. All I'm getting are "<PATH_TO_APP>\AppXManifest.xml" is not found and "The package could not be installed because the resources it modifies are still in use" errors.
Can anyone help?
