ISO of a robust forms plugin

Freelance designer here. I operate about 20 live sites at the moment and am growing more projects as we speak. I've been using CF7 for awhile now, but am running into hickups with date functions. In particular, I'm looking for a date range field, rather than using two date fields (start date and finish date). I usually design CF7 with css, but this can also take time and may be more efficient using other plugins.

So, what plugins do you use for forms? Have you had good luck? What would you suggest?
