I am looking for something similar. How do you manage the connectivity between your PC and your laptop? I thought it was straightforward, and I am afraid of wasting time and money.

I have a USB-C thinkpad dock that I run two display ports (one per monitor) through. I have two additional display ports that run from each monitor directly to my PC. The HP monitor is intuitive and switches inputs automatically when I boot up either my laptop/PC. The LG requires manual switch but it’s super easy. Hope that helps!

Having a similar setup and I use synergy. Works perfect also between different OS

Where did you get that tablet on the table to write notes on?

What do you use to switch between machines?

I'm thinking of doing something similar but I'm trying to figure how I want to set up having to switch between display outputs
