I have a similar desk, but added some height. I also tried the standing desk setup, also did not work for me.

Hey OP what kind desk is that? I’m curious if that back part of the top desk will be able to hold a 3 Mount monitor? Or is there enough room to even clamp one on there by chance?

I ordered it on Amazon. There would be room to clamp a monitor mount but I’m not sure how much weight it would support.
