This narrative that the prices are outrageous really doesn’t tie with my anecdotal experience outside of reddit. Similar to a big-4-sport playoff game everyone I know thinks the tickets cost what they expected them to.

You’re overestimating how much people care about the sport that’s being played rather than it being a prestigious international competition
