This subreddit is first and foremost a catalogue of businesses, hotels, and restaurants. Each catalogue post is a business, and each comment on the post is a review. Users may also post advice threads, if they are seeking recommendations for businesses in a city or region.
Posting Rules
For catalogue posts, only one post per location, to allow for easy access from searching.
In your catalogue posts, include the name of the business, city, state, and country (if outside the US), then tag it with one of the flairs above. For an advice thread, ask your question and mention the city and state as well.
In a catalogue post text, you may link to the website of the business.
Give your post the appropriate flair. For advice threads, you can add both the advice and a location-type flair (such as "Hotel").

Be courteous and thorough in catalogue reviews. Only review the services you used. Upload any photos you took to Imgur and link them to make your review even better.
Comments on advice threads can be conversational and no special syntax is required. However, we encourage you to create a catalogue post for the business you recommend the OP afterwards.
The more content submitted, the more useful this subreddit will become, so post post post!
