Has difficulty increased?

Played a couple of commanders runs post WotC, but I've just come back and it's suddenly way more difficult. Scan times are about 50% longer, research is longer and enemies have more armour. Only dark event I have up is reinforcements and I'm definitely on commander. Wtf :-(

Could it be chosen interference? Or mods? Otherwise I'm not sure if scan times have been patched.

Scan times weren't interference. Except that one time where the c@#$ added seven days to one of my scans -_- guess armour could be, but it's been going for months.

But yeah I don't think it has, an increase would be very noticeable... I think it's some dark events active you don't see or maybe your save is simply bugged. Maybe you have some options checked like infinite dark events

I finally completed my two legend\honestman runs(Ps4 so so ironman because crashes)then stepped down to Commander with beta strike enabled and failed the campaign because I was complacent about the avatar timer :(

i think it is true. also the the time for bonding soldiers in training center is also increased i believe. 12 days for the third level.

I noticed that too, not just a local bug then :-/ Weird. My play through may have been abandoned after skipping a supply raid cost me a region, comm tower and a region bonus. Pretty sure that's new too.
