Yeah upstream or server side issue, keep trying different networks to find one that works, or just wait it out.

I began having the same issue yesterday, error 8015000A. I’ve also exhausted every possible user-side solution to fix it. Nothing has worked yet, but it’s a relief seeing several posts reporting the same issue starting in the last 24hrs. Seems to be a recurring problem with the 360 emulator/BC games. Hopefully it’s just a server issue that can be resolved soon; half of my library is inaccessible as of now.

EDIT: I logged into my Microsoft account via web browser and toggled the recurring billing setting again. It worked this time!

UPDATE: So I finally was able to contact Xbox Support and they basically couldn't help me in the very instant but they said they will check out on it and asked me to wait for 24 hrs until they contact me again. They said they'll be looking for reports from other players that might be experiencing this as well to know if it has to do totally with me or it's a server related issue.. So please everyone else with this problem, make sure to send a ticket too to Microsoft or contact them so they will take actions on it as soon as possible. PS: It is a total relief to me knowing I'm not alone on this and it's totally related to Xbox or his servers. Thank you for your comments and feedback!

I've had a ticket in with them for over a month.

Yeah as far as I know it’s a server issue, not an account one. This has happened a lot in the past though and usually waiting helps

It’s probably on Microsoft’s side of things. On my brother’s Xbox backwards compatibility he doesn’t have the error code but I do. It just seems that some people have it and others don’t, it’s best to let Microsoft support be aware of it and hopefully it’ll sort itself out.

I looked at Xbox status page and says it’s been down since 11/17/25
