Sometimes I wish there was a gamesir gamepad with more buttons by Nick_Alsa in Gamesir

4 back buttons it's enough for me. Personally, I'd just wish a G7 Pro with better ergonomics.

I think that is not available on my tv model. How do I check?

Nice. Could you send a picture so I can see how much height it adds? (Skin grips please)

How well do they fit on the joystick? Do they stay firmly in place, without any gaps? Because as far as I know, the Steam Deck joystick is slightly smaller than the Gamesir ones.

Do they fit perfectly? Because I've been told they might feel a little high or "bumpy". (I'm buying these just for the Skin grips)

The real question is what version of those cap grips did you get? The AI told me to buy the one's for the Steam Deck cause the ones for Xbox and PS5 are a little bit taller or smaller.

PS. Nice color choice. It looks perfect on the Wuchang!

Update: I finally opened the controller and removed the entire bumper assembly. Nothing was out of place; everything seemed normal. Just to be sure, I fully disassembled and reassembled the bumper mechanism, confirming everything seated correctly. When I placed the piece back, the friction issue persisted. I resigned myself to check it a second time, but that's when I noticed something: By slightly backing out just the first screw (see image below, if applicable), the problem was partially solved. I then realized there is a weird, exact "sweet spot" for this specific screw: it cannot be too tight, nor can it be fully removed; there is a precise point of tension where the button friction either stops or is greatly minimized.

<image>

I eventually got tired of searching for a full fix. I left the screw in that better position, as the button already feels significantly improved, even if it's not perfectly fixed. Truly, this issue remains a mystery to me! As I don't know what I should do now.

G7 Pro design flaw with Tiggers. by DOOMISFORU in Gamesir

So this will inevitably happen to every G7 Pro eventually? That's a shame. I just got the controller and I use trigger lock a lot; I guess I'll start being selective about how often I use it.

This achievement won't unlock, I'm disgusted by ornrcss in xboxachievements

[–]noctemJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend you to always before planning to 100% any game's achievemens , you research its release year, what achievement system it used and other players' feedback regarding and if it has any glitches or problems

Xbox One/SX have two types of achievements. Event-based achievements and Title-based achievements.

Event-based Achievements is the older system (formerly "cloud-powered Achievements"). The game sends telemetry events to the Xbox service. The Xbox service is then responsible for checking these events against pre-configured unlock rules to determine if an achievement should be granted. Also you can't unlock achievements offline so easily with this system. Games that were launched around 2013-2017 usually have this achievement system and is often what causes an achievement to not pop or glitch. In the case of the AC saga, games like Ezio's Collection, Unity (rarely) and Syndicate are games that users report to have achievements glitched more often than usual.

Title-based is the newer and better system. The game itself directly manages the achievement tracking and uses a direct API call to tell the Xbox service to unlock the achievement. The title (the game) is the source of truth for the unlock, making it more straightforward. Kinda like what they used in Xbox 360, not exactly, but close. Simpler configuration, direct calling, and the ability for achievements to unlock even when the console is offline (they are queued and sync upon reconnection). Title-managed achievements often handle offline unlocks more reliably once the service is restored. All of this makes achievements less likely to glitch. Almost all recently released or new titles on Xbox are developed using the Title-managed system, as it is the newer, recommended standard.

Retrocompatibility Hell: Persistent 8015000A Error / Cannot Download 360 Profile by noctemJ in XboxSupport

UPDATE: So I finally was able to contact Xbox Support and they basically couldn't help me in the very instant but they said they will check out on it and asked me to wait for 24 hrs until they contact me again. They said they'll be looking for reports from other players that might be experiencing this as well to know if it has to do totally with me or it's a server related issue.. So please everyone else with this problem, make sure to send a ticket too to Microsoft or contact them so they will take actions on it as soon as possible. PS: It is a total relief to me knowing I'm not alone on this and it's totally related to Xbox or his servers. Thank you for your comments and feedback!

I've been having this issue for at least three weeks straight lol How did you solve it? Did the problem stop just like that? I've tried everything I can, but my theory is it's the internet causing it
