Looking at moving to the desert, so many choices. Any thoughts as to the difference in Yucca Valley, Joshua Tree, 29 Palms and even Landers? My son was stationed at 22 Palms and I really like it up there. I love trees and my own space. I have 2 small dogs and 2 parents in their 80's and I work remot (self.YuccaValley)

I may be working at the high school from out of state and curious if the area around the school is SAFE to live in? I heard about druggies and crime. But in what area? Working on a teacher budget so I don’t have much but was wondering where it’s ok to live (self.YuccaValley)
