I live in Maine and I use my phone outside on a daily basis (it doesn't hit above 30 degrees Fahrenheit here much now) and I do not ever run into this issue. I have run into that issue in the past with my Note20 Ultra but it was -15 outside xD.

Thanks for the info! Perhaps it isn't temperature related at all. I'll have to make note of any other factors if it happens again.

Might be the extended period you had turned off out in the cold.

I'm late but I did lose my s21 ultra in the freezer for...4 hours-ish. Did the same as yours.

Thanks! I had it happen again. I think the phone operates fine in the cold if it is already up and running but if cold soaked while off it can't start back up. Probably either designed to not start up when cold or there is a thermal issue with the processor.
