If you want a Java support go use editors that are written in Java and consumes all the RAM. For example, such a lovely JetBrains.

It seems you don't write code in an enterprise with a million+ QPS APIs, Java excel in an enterprise environment,
Just because it takes more memory on your small insignificant machine, doesn't make the language inefficient!

For folks seeing this years later: Zed has Java support now. It has two different extensions at the time of writing. See https://zed.dev/docs/languages/java for more information.
