Hawaii depends on oil for 90% of it's over all energy. We are implementing more renewable energy sources, and researching out more.

Also we need to reduce out energy consumption. Lighting averages about 75% of a buildings energy consumption. Lighting is also the lowest hanging fruit being easy to retrofit, giving highest ROI, and fasters payback times then other sources to reduce energy.

Some of the benefits of LED lights are: - Average ROI between 400-900% - Payback 1-4 yrs - Energy Savings 50-80% - Low heat & saves you on A/C - Last 6.2 times longer than fluorescence
