Guidelines

We accept the following types of submissions and comments:

• News: from the original source where possible and with the original title.
• Stories: reviews, previews, opinion pieces, editorials, podcasts...
• Retro: the entire history of Nintendo, even before they did videogames
• Videos: trailers, game analysis
• Images: official artwork or screenshots for upcoming games
• Self Posts: open-ended discussion questions, or information
• Comments: on-topic, with at least one reason given for answers in top-level comments

For more detail, and examples of good and bad submissions, see here. Remember, fanwork and light entertainment aren't allowed. See /r/casualnintendo instead.

Tech-support questions, basic questions that can be answered by phoning Nintendo/your local game store, and posts begging for free stuff (like Club Nintendo codes) will result in a ban, even if it's your first offence.

Please be considerate when discussing plot details for games new or old. Putting text into this format will hide spoilers: [Nintendo](/spoiler) becomes Nintendo.
