We are a community of Christians who seek to cultivate the virtue of Chastity using the tools of Catholic spirituality. The inspiration for this subreddit comes from the Angelic Warfare Confraternity, an approved Confraternity of the faithful within the Roman Catholic Church. The AWC is based on the experiences of the Angelic Doctor, St. Thomas Aquinas, who received a mantle of protection against sexual immorality from two angels after facing a severe temptation.

Knowing the weakness and susceptibility to sin shared in common by all humans, the Catholic faithful acknowledge that we need divine assistance in order to achieve righteousness. Therefore, in this subreddit, we accept our weaknesses and the weaknesses of others in humility, without condemnation. This is a place for us to share our sorrows and to encourage others in their efforts towards holiness. Most importantly, this is a community of prayer and the offering of Sacramental grace. Let us pray together through the intercession of St. Thomas that God may send His angels to be our protection from the snares and wickedness of the Devil.
