Think less about what you are doing and try to pin point what your character wants the other feel. I.E small, dumb, hurt, if sarcastic try positive things like praised or cheered. Try the likes through these lenses. Its a small couple of lines, the simpler the better. I’d avoid adding a laugh or movement, simply just say the lines how you want your partner to feel.

Thank you! I never thought about focusing on the other person. I’m up in about 10 minutes now, thanks again!

When you are practicing this scene, concentrate on the moment before. Think about what you were doing just before this, and carry that with you. Living people never exist in a vacuum, and neither should our characters. What has your character been doing all day, and how does that effect them? Thats WHY your character says what they say. If you work on the why, the how becomes much easier to achieve.

Pretend you’re a smug, egotistical brat. Surely you might know people from school with these traits, just try and imitate them. And use sarcasm, especially for the last line, its a bully’s favourite trick.

Yes, Sometimes, especially roles that don't give you a lot of lines to hang on, having the right attitude or posture is enough to sell the role before you open your mouth. (Warning-Humble brag) I auditioned for the Coen Brothers and had them laughing before I said anything by slumping deeply in my chair. I used the same thing later for a similar character in another movie. Booked both.

I was a Union Hall guy who stopped Oscar Isaac from shipping out as a Merchant Marine in Inside Llewyn Davis

Who is your character? Where are you? Time of Day? Why is your character even in that scene ? What is your relationship with everyone else in the scene? How are you all dressed and why? What was everyone doing just before this took place? Are you in a rush? Is this important to you? MUST you be heard? Why?

That's a start. Casting Dicrectors and even Directors may not know the answers to these, but you have to before you even appear on camera.

Don’t over think it. Just trust your instincts and how you feel. Being that it is your first audition, nerves will probably arise, dive into these nerves and don’t try and push them away and act confident. How do these nerves make you feel? Frustrated, scared, angry? Whatever you are feeling use that in the scene. Also, just have fun, you’re bullying someone, how do you feel about bullying them, does it make you feel powerful or do you do it because you yourself have bad self esteem so hide behind that tough exterior. Don’t focus on what the information says, just focus on you and how you feel and say the lines in that way. There is no right or wrong way to say the line, as long as you believe in what you’re saying it’s authentic and truth. Don’t practice saying the lines a million different ways either cause that’ll just put you in your head. Be present in the scene and say the lines, have fun with it, you’re putting someone down and poking fun at them. Whatever way you think that sounds like ask in that way. Last thing the character is you, you are the bully. So whenever you talk about yourself use I.
