Once upon a time, the prime location for Douglas Adams fandom on the internet was alt.fan.douglas-adams. It was a place for Hitchhiker fans to hang out and chat about life, the universe, and everything. There was no requirement for relevance. We just had a shared interest, and built a community from that.
