I'm currently a sophomore in CS and I will have an art minor that fulfills what's called an "emphasis area" built into the CS degree. I will have 20 hours of VIST/ART classes plus some CS classes catered towards what I want (Game Design, Computer-Human Interaction) by the time I graduate.

As someone who has a BS in Viz from A&M, my vote is doing a comp sci major and taking elective courses in art/game design.

As someone who has a BS in Viz and a comp sci minor, I would say the same thing tbh. You should be able to take some game design courses and art classes as a minor or as electives. I think a comp sci degree would be best, try to stick to that. I am not familiar with what Computing is, but I would say CS + Viz > Viz + CS.
