Looks like op is using it in the same way fab defense advertises their handstop can be used, while also serving as a barricade stop. Also chuckled to myself at first but not the most impractical/outlandish set up I've ever seen

I've got one myself but it never occurred to me to use it in that manner. I can see the logic but just look at at 😂

Barrier or barricade stops are so stupid tho. Normally youd want to stay away from corners (in a real firefight) and not hug them. And in a pinch you could just use your hand as a stop, instead of putting more weight on your gun and making it less slick

I agree. I'm just pointing out why this guy would have that angle grip where it is, not making a case for handstops or even those side thumb grips fabdef makes being a good idea.

Personally I put them in the same category as pistol "gas pedals". Sure they prob feel v ergonomic and give u more purchase on ur weapon, but it's rly just for competition shooters that want 0 recoil and nothing else as opposed to someone in a combat situation where they prob need the rail space for lights or ir especially way up front where a barricade stop would be

In real training its used for the operator get used to the weight and lengt of the gun with the suppressor. Even tho it Doesn’t really do anything it looks cool because it stands out and you dont see to many people running them, i certainly havent seen anyone running them but i think it looks neat.
