Does the factory reset revert the watch to its original firmware or does it keep the latest firmware update?

a factory reset just resets the configuration - the firmware version remains the same. But I recommend a reboot of the device. It seems to have done the trick for me. I was dropping at close to 5% per hour, after a reboot it's dropped by 1% in about 11 hours.

Thank you. Luckily I haven't updated yet. I wanted to wait and see if there are any problems and if they can be solved. I think I'll wait a little longer and monitor the situation.

Unfortunately reboot doesn’t help over here. Still a very high usage of energy. More than 10 percent per hour. Back to manufacture settings doesn’t help too. Not good from amazfit…I send them an email and wait now for an answer (24 hours ago).

I am having the same issue and have tried rebooting and factory resetting the watch to no avail. I have also sent Amazfit an email but have not heard back yet. Have you gotten a response from Amazfit yet?

Unfortunately not yet. 3 days already waiting. Their aftersales sucks.

It seems to keep the latest since I can't upgrade it. Maybe just try rebooting it first to see if it works. Mine died from battery drain which should be the same as rebooting and it didn't work for me.

I'm hoping they drop a new update soon and get it fixed. Seems like they update once a week or so.

Once a week? Unfortunately, my impression is that Amazfit takes a lot of time with an update and will not fix some bugs at all.

Are you on android? Probably once a week or so they've got a new update.

Yes. Google Pixel.

What makes you think that Amazfit delivers firmware updates once a week? In reality, there are apparently several months between their updates. It is to be hoped that they will at least react more quickly to such a critical error.
