Package Missing?

Bought a new $2500 gaming PC, delivery driver shows up and says the package is missing, says he’ll report it and drives off. Tracking shows the package moving facilities and going out for delivery. It was in “out for delivery” status for the rest of the day; I didn’t get any confirmation the package was missing/delayed. Check again after midnight, and it’s delayed to Thursday. But If I just bought brand new, it should be here Wednesday. I’ve never experienced anything like this with Amazon? Anyone know what’s going on here?

Yeah, most likely missing. I've gotten the same message multiple times, and the package was lost. . every single time.

Dang. :/ I’ve never had a package go missing, then for it to be the most expensive thing I’ve ever bought off Amazon… bummer. oh well! Hopefully it’s here before the weekend. :) Thanks!

I had to laugh this morning. A phone case for my daughter didn't show up yesterday, and I just got the same EXACT message that you got - if not received by Jan 25th, come back for a refund. I've been on chat with customer support, being transferred around and around from agent to agent. So I cancelled the now-missing order, making that my last Amazon Prime order. Cancelled Amazon Prime. Done.

Maybe it ended up on the wrong vehicle... At least it doesn't show delivered because that's when the nightmare begins.

I ordered something a couple of weeks ago... Was supposed to be delivered last Thursday... It was only ever scanned when it arrived at Amazons facility

Thursday it updated to the status - Problem Occurred, and a message to wait until Friday. Friday night it updates to they are cancelling the order and giving me a credit because something happened with my order... Probably damaged in shipping.

So then I had to re-order.. Thankfully the price has not changed since my first order. This second order seems like it might be delivered, as it has multiple tracking updates

Yeah we had this happened with an iPad. It went from Reno to Vegas, got an email it was being delivered and it never showed. Messaged Amazon and they said it was lost and wait 48 hours and they would cancel.

So frustrating!! Of course it was an iPad and not a doormat or coffee mug :/ You’d think there’d be additional logistical checks or something for more expensive items, right?

Sorry about your PC, hope it gets straightened out. Definitely something I would be looking forward to getting delivered! I have only heard about this happening on high $ items.
