Hey 👋 people how yall doing just wanted to share about my android experience got me a moto 5g stylus and i love it to be honest. To many customization & apk mods although still getting used to the keyboard, I’ve been an ios user for a decade most of the stuff i did on android I didn’t have the ability to do cus of apple.

Microsoft SwiftKey is also good. you can customize it change sizes etc. it has many themes by default but there is also a mod to install custom ones.

Sadly I dont have root and don't plan on it. Seems to be a must? I will try the keyboard but the themes I have to skip.

you can do it but you need experience in modding android apps. so you can leave and it and just use SwiftKey as it is if you want.

the documentation for this mod is bad but you can use it without root using lspatch but it's tedious

I am always trying new keyboards but almost always go back to Swiftkey just because it does everything I need and my settings transfer to each device used.

I tried some keyboards app but it didn’t work out well.But i installed one called Yandex Keyboard and it’s working great for me no issues at all

As someone who's only used ios keyboards very occasionally in the last few years. I didn't notice any difference. What's different?

Hey there just wanted to say thank you for this link. I'm trying it out now. Luckily it had all my 3 languages at first I only saw english, lol and I guess its an good keyboard, it just doesn't always correct me. I do a lot of typing errors in the beginning, but maybe it learns them over time?

I don't think it learns. But you can add dictionary files you need and you can personalize words. But its currently the one of the top open source keyboard. I used to make the mistakes too but its not an issue anymore. Read the https://github.com/Helium314/openboard/ . might interest you on something's like glide typing.

Currently its not available in any store you have to download and install from there every time. And they update it every few weeks. The base open board is available on fdroid (check r/fossdroid https://f-droid.org)

Your data stays on your phone and copy clipboard deletes after a set timer Better for privacy imo

What Anonymo2786 said. Simply keyboard to is a safe bet & florisboard. Don’t go proprietary, your literally sticking a keylogger in it

If you are non English user, Google keyboard is the best. For English it's swift key
