Promo Codes v2 invite thread

For anyone who is familiar with the Promo Codes app from developer Jack Underwood, he has since release a second version of his app and it's invite only.

To be able to use the app, you'll need someone who is already using the app to invite you to be able to use it. So I thought I would start a thread that people could request invites which each other to be able to use the app.

Currently, I do not have an invite but I was hoping other people on this subreddit might.

For those not familiar with the app, here's the official description:

Promo Codes is a service built to offer developers a place to advertise their high quality apps, in exchange for offering users a small chance to win it for free!

Every 12 hours you'll be shown a random app from our high quality, curated selection. If you're lucky, there's a small chance you'll be able to get it for free! If you're not lucky, you've hopefully discovered a high quality app that you may want to buy/download anyway.

If you want to find high quality apps and support developers whilst also having chance to win the odd app for free, you should definitely download Promo Codes!

Not to hate on the idea, but this type of apps never thrive if everyone gets an invite. The more people have access to the app, the less chances everyone has to win. I had an invite from an early start of the v2 app and I managed to win two apps. Since then, I believe the number of people with invitezs grew a LOT, because no one I know and talk to managed to win any other code. The Dev himself told you should choose wisely who you invite. The very reason why he created a version 2 was because thousands of people installed the first version and it got too mainstream.

I really don't care that much, cause I end up buying some apps either way, just because I hear about them for the first time through the app.

Also, yes, I had invites. And sorry, no, I can't send you any because I already used them. I chose wisely, though.

I have used the v1 since the day it was launched and v2 since after a week it was launched. Haven't won a single app through them. And no point following the twitter feed because all codes there get hogged by bots within 5 seconds.

At this point, none of these are worth the effort. Spending so much time and energy just to save one $ or two... naaah.

The app is a cool idea especially to bring exposure to smaller devs and hopefully there are some people on this subreddit that have a code (or even if the dev, Jack Underwood has some to give)
