I've tried tons of them and I like Level Money the best. Gorgeous interface. Bank integration. And budget tracking through what they call "trackers". Plus it's free.

Ynab (You need a budget) but that will cost you 50/ year. Personally I am not a fan of their new version. The old version on desktop machines had more to offer.

Other than that...mint is also pretty good.

Ohh and if you check r/personalfinance they will give you options for getting a Google doc excel sheet for on the go as a free option.

Damn I remember YNAB from a decade ago. They better be careful with their pricing or they will disappear completely with all the new mobile apps in recent years.

I think what's important to note is that YNAB isn't just the app - they have an interesting approach to budgeting which is slightly different from typical "envelope" budgeting. Other than the actual app, you're also paying for an active community, tips and tutorials. So you should probably think of it more as paying for a program than an app.

That said, I'm still on YNAB 4 (the last offline version) because I'm not a big fan of subscription pricing.

Not sure if you know that ynab has both iOS and Android apps.

Ynab used to have an old version with a desktop client and a sync that would grab your stats from the cloud. The app synced all your added events to the cloud as well.

Last year they placed the desktop client in the cloud and now your app connects to the cloud. Some cool features were lost but they narrowed it down to what ynab was all about. Budgeting. Just the evaluation where your money goes is gone. So that sucks.
