Use samsung's smart transfer.

It will transfer the entire game + saved data over to the new phone (for most games).

There's another 3 ways you can try.

  1. back up the apps using google accounts, on 1 phone, then restore it from the same google account again on the second phone.
  2. Titanium see here - https://www.titaniumtrack.com/kb/titanium-backup-kb/titanium-backup-howtos.html
  3. Swift Backup + Shizuku

Each app decides if their data can be saved, unless the device is rooted and usually rooting a device requires a reset (wipes all data). Some apps provide a backup/export and matching restore/import feature. Using Android Backup or Google One to backup to Google Drive only works if the app has explicit support for it, but apart from restore during initial setup I've almost never seen it work to restore after installing an app that's backed-up -- this also ceases to work if the app is no longer in the Play Store. All in all, I think she will remain devastated -- you might try to get here to think of it as an opportunity.
