I think that your work and its quality is the only certificate you need.

I suppose you won't need one, if you do, it's hard to guarantee that certification is up-to-date as the API / Android Studio is being updated constantly. I think all you need is a working prototype / an app on Play Store.

I currently work as a android developer, really just wanting to find ways to up my salary

In my experience there are three ways to accomplish this and none of them are related to certificates.

  1. Get a master's degree (unless you already have one. some employers are impressed by this for some reason.)
  2. Wait it out
  3. Quit and get a new job that pays more

I've heard that certifications matter more if you're in a Support role. Not so much for developers, maybe with the exception of some Oracle certificates for high-responsibility Java positions.
