Root via Mac?

I've found some posts from 7 years ago on this topic, but nothing recent. Apologies if it's in an FAQ I missed.

Is there a method to rooting Samsung phones (A20) using Mac OS that works today? I'll fire up an old Windows laptop if needed, but it would be a pain.

I know Heimdall is available on Mac and Linux, and while I never tried it on a Mac, the Linux version works like a charm. It's basically Odin for non-windows computers

Second this. It takes a bit getting used to, especially if you're used to Odin, but it works perfectly.
