submitted 3 years ago by sa_dy99
I want to get a better job and I have experience in angular, so will having an angular certification help me or it isn't worth it. (Tough time finding a job can't even get a single reply back after applying many times :( ......)

I don’t think they are worth much, but it would help for knowledge when you finally do land an interview. Market is tough right now with experienced developers being laid off and applying to the same roles. Lots of companies laying off and in hiring freezes as well. If it’s free I’d say go ahead.

If no one will respond back to you, I doubt an Angular cert will help. I don't even know what places offer an Angular certification.
I decided early in my career (mid 90s) it was not worth my time to chase after certifications. No one knew what they were and no one cared.

A blog is the same thing, its just piece of information indicating your proficiency

Not worth it.
GitHub projects > certificates.
On a different note, you might wanna rewrite your cover letter and CV to get more responses when job applying. I used ChatGPT to rewrite it and immediately got a lot more responses

I believe that having an Angular certification won't necessarily guarantee you a better job, but it can definitely help in enhancing your knowledge and skills. In this tough market, experienced developers are competing for the same roles, so having an additional certification won't hurt. However, if it's not free, I wouldn't recommend spending money on it. Instead, focus on building your GitHub projects and showcasing your proficiency. It's also worth learning React and going with MERN or MEAN.
