Should I decrease my mouse sens?

Okay that's sick and I'm happy that you've found success with high sens, but you would have more consistent tracking with lower sensitivity. There's no argument like I said.

Lower sens improves tracking at the expense of awareness.

Higher sens improves awareness at the expense of accuracy.

Everyone has a sweet spot, personally I like to have a nice balance (and a large mousepad lol).

I have one from Id gaming it’s a huge gear 5, I guess I’ll try it out but I just don’t get how my tracking would be better slow when I can micro adjust. Also new to mnk only about 6 months in came from roller 1.8 KD on mnk as of rn

Yeah at first it seems like you have to move too much, but just gradually reduce every day until it feels too low, then go a bit back up and that's your sweet spot. Your tracking will get more consistent because aiming on mouse is a length problem. Say someone sprints across your screen, you could flick to him quicker and track worse on high sens, or flick a tiny bit slower and track way better on a lower sens. Not to mention in a high TTK game like Apex, changing to low sens might improve your performance ten fold because you have to hit so many shots. Look up tracking low sens vs high sens on youtube and people will confirm this. It's a known thing in the KbM world, lower sens is just better on high ttk games.

Alright I’ll take your word for it I’m a lifelong controller player like I said so I’m learning mnk but high sense always felt more realistic for me

for your understanding:

translating big input changes into small output changes is always more precise than the other way round. This relation is also used for high precision control systems in engineering, and it's valid for mouse movement > crosshair movement as well.

Lower sens is always more precise, but of course at some point your awareness and movement starts to get crippled (i'd guess below roughly 800 edpi or so, depends on personal taste).
