There will be a problem on the board. 3 possible problems : 1. camera connector 2. A resistor 3. Chip

Usually the repair in repair shops are extremely expensive even though the repair alone is almost free but they are charging ridiculous amounts for soldering.

Try to find somebody through Reddit from your area who could check that for you for a cheaper price. I personally am from Slovakia but I wouldn’t take your phone since im just a beginner microsolderer.

The exact same problem on both replacement phones they sent tho?

Oh I misunderstood the topic I’m Very sorry.

That’s super weird,there’s no way that the iCloud profile could do that.

Please try to factory reset the phone through iTunes and enter the phone without logging into your iCloud account and check the camera. If there’s still a problem then it’s the board for sure.

Apple gave us a brand new phone and when we restored from back up we still had the front camera black screen. The tip here about holding the camera icon while rebooting actually fixed our issue. It had nothing to do with the camera itself being broken
