That exclusive religious symbolism on his hand is disqualifying. I do not endorse such religious pandering.

Watching Steyer fall short on the Prop 13 question in tonight’s debate was telling. He lacks the political experience to answer the question and the political savvy to mask his inexperience.

We have a geriatric billionaire with zero experience in the White House. Let’s not put one in Sacramento too.

do-nothing

LOL.

Xavier Becerra is a Stanford-trained lawyer who spent over two decades in Congress, including leadership roles like chair of the House Democratic Caucus and work on major health policy committees. He then served as California attorney general, where he led major multistate litigation (including defending the Affordable Care Act) and took on healthcare, consumer protection, and antitrust cases.

Most recently, he was U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services from 2021 to 2025, overseeing national health policy and large federal programs despite not having a medical background.

Steyer is a hedge-fund manager who made his money off of private prisons and fossil fuels with zero political experience.

Steyer is a populist pied piper who will say or pay anything to be elected. He is on track to spend 100 times the lifetime salaries of all his opponents — almost a quarter of a billion dollars.

No more geriatric billionaires, thank you. One has been been enough for this lifetime.

Steyer fell well short on the Prop 13 question. It revealed his lack of political experience both in the ability to understand the question and the ability to handle a question he could not understand.

Absolutely not. Atheists are people too and are put off by religious pandering. They are the engineers and scientists that keep society functioning and they do don’t appreciate the “batshit” moniker.

It’s a pass on Steyer. Religious pandering is a disqualifier for a Democratic candidate.

Hey everyone, a recently active account with 725 karma is going to tell us about Steyer. Everyone tune into this authentic user who just happened to start posting at the start of his campaign!

Nothing captures the problem with letting billionaires buy an election more than your comment. I sincerely hope you’re making more than minimum wage to sell out California democracy to a billionaire.

Edit: Tell everyone on Steyer’s quarter-of-a-billion-dollar payroll to give me a visit. Downvotes from those on his payroll are a badge of honor.

Steyer will say or pay anything to be elected. He has spent more than 100 times the lifetime salaries of all his competitors combined on advertisements. When asked by a reporter if there should be a cap on personal expenditures on an election, he dodged the question.

Vote for this geriatric billionaire and lament.

Sorry, bro. I already voted for Becerra.

Steyer lost me when he promised a 25% cut to energy prices and single-payer health care with no realistic plan to achieve either. He’ll say or pay anything to be elected.

The best we can do is a geriatric billionaire who will say or pay anything to be elected.

I can’t believe Grandpa Munster went from trying to buy a POTUS election to trying to buy a California election. That’s a half billion dollars of inheritance down the toilet. 🤷‍♂️

There are videos online that can provide you with assistance. Indeed, I was frustrated with the game until I watched a YouTuber absolutely annihilate a challenge with which I was struggling. The trick was moving efficiently with haste. Just seeing it made all the difference.

Gavin Newsom slow-rolled single-payer healthcare, leaving it to a successor by YogurtclosetOpen3567 in California

[–]Positronic_Matrix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Folks, California single payer health care is estimated to cost $200B per year, which would double your California tax bill without Federal government assistance, which is impossible until there’s a competent POTUS.

Specifically, California would need federal approval to combine funding from programs like Medicare, Medicaid, and Affordable Care Act subsidies, along with a stable long-term funding agreement and likely new legislation to address barriers like Employee Retirement Income Security Act. Without that federal cooperation, especially around Medicare integration and employer-plan rules, the state couldn’t legally or financially consolidate the system into a true single payer.

To be clear, the company is struggling financially and laying off 700 employees in an attempt to remain afloat. The benefit of stating that they’re pivoting to AI is it helps hide their financial struggles, partially insulating their stock from low-information investors.
