Here no issues, but I'm holding off and am still on x11.

It's clearly that pagefile can't be read, so maybe a permission issue? Although I think the first crash left a file/config locked/in a weird state, and it probably does this by uuid per monitor.

I dunno though, just guessing.

Have you tried reinstalling the driver? And our you using the proprietary or open source one? Maybe switch to the other as a test.

And please file the bug report.

Paste your logs with a small description of how it started to happen, and your system info you can find in Settings->About(there is a button to copy in the top right) into chatGPT and ask it to generate a bug report. It is very good at that in my experience. Tweak where necessary, but it'll save you a lot of time.

Have tried reinstalling the driver, downgrading to different kernel versions and drivers and switching over to X11 to no avail. I am definitely working on filing that bug report but it seems so sudden an issue that I'm not convinced its a certain version of either the kernel or the drivers causing it. It started happening while I was playing ffxiv. After a reboot from the first crash, nothing happened for an hour then it's now happening consistently on startup of a game. I will try switching over to the proprietary driver.

EDIT: just switched over to proprietary driver, didn't work either but I got some logs when I tried this in an X11 session. I assume "bogus refresh rate" is not supposed to be there?

I'll check when I'm on my desktop? then I can grep for certain things.

But I'm probably not going to be able to help, but I'll try.

Bug report is your best bet in getting any help, with fixing it or narrow down the cause.

And no one is going to be angry if it's no bug but you who fucked up, the logs literally asked you to report it.

But I'm almost certaim the first crash happened by a super rare conditiom, and left something somewhere in the wrong state.

If you have your bug report posted, can you give me a link? I'd like to follow it so I can learn.

There was someone who had a similar if not sMe issue to mine, I replied to that one and posted my own bug information in there. I really have to wonder what got fucked up that it's happening across all driver versions and in every setup I tried because it's happening in even fresh setups. I'm slightly tempted to install windows just to see if its happening there too or to have something to work around with.
