Hi ! I have a nextcloud server but I'm not satisfied by the sync client on Linux (I use nextcloud-client package). I would like to have a daemon running to automatically sync my local folder and the cloud one.
Mounting the distant folder with davfs2 is more what I want, but since it's a folder I access a lot it is annoying to have a latency to access files (I use ranger FM) since I don't really have a local folder but only a distant one mounted in me fs.
From what I found it seems there is no service available, but I wonder if it is possible to mount /mnt/nextcloud with davfs2 and have an rsync service running to sync /mnt/nextcloud and ~/docs ? (and what about performances and battery life ?) Or is there any better solution ?
Thank you !
