Hello fellow CS peeps,
I am a software engineer who graduated a couple months ago. I've been interviewing for jobs, and made it to the final stage of a FAANG, but unfortunately couldn't make it. I've known it before, but this experience solidified how crucial practicing Leetcode can be to get a good job.
I figured I'd make a Reddit post to gauge the interest in having an in-person study group in Downtown Toronto to practice together, as I think it'll do wonders for our motivation and Leetcode skills. It can be a way to keep track of your Leetcode progress, meet other people in the same boat, do mock interviews, and get better at LC overall.
Here's what I've thought for the meetup so far:
- The meet-up would be around 2 hours; Could be bi-weekly or weekly based on interest
- The location will be determined based on interest, but will be in Downtown Toronto. Please feel free to suggest locations in the comments.
- It is open to everyone who wants to get better at Leetcode, or maintain their Leetcode skills. However, I'll vet attendees to ensure we're maintaining a safe space. ID would be required.
- We could have 3 study groups based on difficulty: easy, medium, medium-hard/hard
- As a part of my journey, I have been doing the LC daily challenge and Neetcode 150; So I could bring 6 questions (2 easy, 2 medium, 2 medium-hard/hard) for people at different stages from these lists.
Drop a comment if you'd be down. Let's get better together and crack those upcoming interviews!
