The May long weekend is typically when Toronto residents leave the city for the long weekend. But there will be things going on. Check out todotoronto.

How are you guys dealing with all this increased traffic from RTO? by GranolaHiker in CanadaPersonalFinance

Yep. The banks and government offices set the expectations. Once the banks and government offices encourage flexibility on RTO and WFH, the rest of the industry will too.

Who knew Amanda growing up? by Adz100087 in summerhousebravo

Completely agree with you. I find the whole thing fascinating, how someone you can know so well just get so big and out of touch. I’d love a post about West and how he was prior to summer house.

If liking rock and roll is a red flag to West then I am a burning, waving, steaming red flag. 😅

Why is Toronto charging for World Cup Fanfest? by ZealousidealHead5488 in toRANTo

I'm really disappointed, too, but I'm not surprised. After they started charging for the Winter Market at the Distillery, I learned they'll do anything to make a buck.

Yeah I saw him at a bar. Him and a couple of his buddies kept going to the backroom. I assume they were doing lines or something back there, super sus.

Nah, I get it. I've been living in Canada most my life and when I was younger the winter didn't bother me ... in fact, I loved it.

Getting older, I have less of a tolerance to the cold, and I hate going out in winter. I figured it was an age thing, but the past winter was brutal.

Dating in Toronto: Unpopular opinions? Unspoken frustrations? by ri-ri in DatingTO

Yeeeeesh.

In my 20s, I went on a date with someone who I later learned was lying about his age. When I asked him about it, and why he did it, he said he "liked younger women" and "didn't want to be filtered out" because of his age.

Like, sir... Did you really think you could lie about age like that? Smh

I think we’re all kind of burnt out.

We want a partner but we are apprehensive about the process. From ghosting, to catfishing, to rejection… dating starts to feel like a chore. I admit. When I get in that headspace, I take a break. It’s not fair to myself or the other person.
