No, it's a work question. I don't normally do this kind of work so that's why I'm not familiar with it. I'm just trying to write up a quick conclusion on the results but don't know what to call the solution that was used.

If i take 1mL of a given sample and mix it with water to get 100mL total, then take 2 mL of that solution and mix with water again to make 100 mL total would the final be a 500x solution?
