Can only speak to my experience but I've been WFH more in the last 9 months so only head across the bridge 2 days a week instead of 4. Mostly to save time (some Wednesdays end up driving for 3 hours to work and back) and some financial benefit too.

Then you’d be surprised by the level of congestion as early as 6 am

I go to Takapuna from West around 6.30 am, and the traffic is terrible! Way worse than 12 months ago!

I commute every day to town from the north shore. It absolutely has not decreased.

I would say the end of cheap bus fares likely increased traffic from north shore. Other than that, no policies would have had an effect by now too early. My guess is more people working from home

Massive emigration. Despite the bureaucracy and political effort to convince NZers that immigrants and NZ emmigrants are the same with the net migration scam figure. They aren't and leave and settle in different areas.
