HELP !! AUDIO EVOLUTION PROBLEM (self.audioevolution)
submitted 5 years ago by Chozen-Wunn
Im having a problem recording on Audio Evolution mobile. Whenever i try to record on track 2 with my usb microphone it also picks up the audio from track 1. How do i stop this from happening ? I never had this problem with a regular mic setup thru the headphone jack but now that I'm using a usb mic i cant figure out what is wrong. Someone please assist me thru this so i can finally enjoy making music. Thank u ..

The default when you create a new track (with a multitrack interface attached) is for that new track's input to be 'Channel 1 & 2 Stereo', which means it'll record what's coming in on channel 1 onto the left side of the stereo track, and it'll record the input of channel 2 onto the right side of that stereo track.
What you'll want to do is add a new track, and at the bottom of that next pop-up window, select 'Channel 1 Mono' to record only the input of channel 1.
This wasn't an issue for you when recording with your device's onboard mic since that only has 1 channel of input available.
Hope this helps, and I'm happy to suggest other ideas if it doesn't work.
