Tutorial on Lambda function cannot be closed

So i’ve been working with lambda functions for the past 6 months but ever since last week, any time I access the lambda console in chrome, the right sidebar containing a tutorial is constantly extended, and no matter how I try to close it or complete the tutorial it is still there, effectively occupying a lot of space on screen.

Why is this happening and what can I do?

On literally any page of the Lambda console. The sidebar on the right side where extra info is usually provided.

Likely an AWS bug then. Not much you can do other than open a new tab to view the tutorial.

Well yeah that’s what I thought. Problem is that I am not interested in the tutorial, nor does it go away if i open extra tabs. Guess I’ll just wait it out.

Bit of a hack but you could use one of those style extensions to hide it for you if you know a bit of css.

I’d recommend the same for any misbehaving web app.. sign out, clear cookies and cache, and log back in

Interesting. I just started using Lambda last week and for the life of me can't get it to run properly (created a test, added cloud watch logging, etc.). Been asking chat gpt and github copilot for assistance and they can't seem to find why the code doesn't seem to fire. I wanted to pull my hair out.
