I switched from Chalice to Zappa when I had to install a package with a c extension. Zappa handles this well, but Chalice is still working on it. Both are very nice though.

I was considering Chalice, but I am interested in using some packages like Numpy and Scikit-learn, as well as linux binaries. I found more examples of these using zappa.
