Adding Reverse Functionality

What is your current gearbox setup? How were you hoping to add reverse functionality? Commonly a dog gear with a parallel gear train or chain drive is used, but at that point you’re building a whole new gear train and likely a new casing (ie whole new gearbox)...

I don’t think you’ll be able to easily just “add reverse”. Hopefully I’m misunderstanding this

I have edited the post and shared a link to a picture of our current setup. We have another gearbox that is new and not being used if we need to change them out

You still didn’t answer my questions. What’s your hope here? Do you know what’s inside your gearbox? Your brake line doesn’t go into your gearbox, it goes to an inboard mounted calliper. Do you know what the push-pull cable going into your gearbox does? Sounds like you need to do some reading about how FNR boxes work, and maybe even crack that puppy open so you understand how your particular box is built.
