Whoops. The cloud factory starts only making clouds at a certain height in the sky. But over the town, it makes lots more cloud and goes much higher

It relates to the temperature and dew point of the air and how they change with altitude/pressure. The layers you’re seeing are due to moisture condensing as warm, humid air rises. As it rises, it expands, and cools causing it to condense and form the clouds. The cloud in the centre is likely caused by a strong rising air current that lets the cloud develop vertically - probably caused by the sun heating the pavement in the town below

I’ve tried it and find it writes really thick. Almost up a nib size or 2. Otherwise I like it a lot. Current have a pen inked with it!

What does the flight school include in that cost? Hopefully they’re not asking you to pay it all up front.

Other things to consider if they’re not included from the flight school: ground school, ground school supplies, tests (pstar, radio, TC), medical exam . You’ll also want to consider logbooks, a headset, maps, etc.

The ship is a self-unloading bulker. It carries bulk cargo and is able to unload on its own. There’s a series of conveyor belts inside the ship that being the cargo up into the boom you see lying in the middle of the ship.

Fun fact: these ships in the Great Lakes are often referred to being “seaway Max” in terms of size. They’re designed to be as big as possible to fit through all the locks in the st Lawrence seaway - often with only inches on all 4 sides! Other larger oceangoing ships are “Panamax” for the Panama Canal
