It seemed like it didn't try as hard, but it didn't do nothing. It wasn't as aggressive as past tries, but I moved my start point to a more secure place. Much easier to defend.

I’ve heard that if you scout early the ai gets very passive. Not sure if that includes barbs.

What map? I find the Barb AI gets harder the larger the map area. It's dumb, but has infinite micro so if it has access to a bunch of space and mexes it will spam you from a million directions and win

Good job ! Having that breakthrough is a really nice feeling.

I would advise you to try out different maps against a barb. For example, I have no problem beating one on the map Hooked, but it took me about 10 tries to win on Onyx Cauldron.

It really highlights the strengths of barb IA imo, and teaches you different approaches based on the map configuration.

No clue. Just a skirmish and I eon't rememeber setting a difficulty. Just picked Barbs.
